PixVerse 5.5 supports multi-shot video generation, creating connected sequences with changing camera angles while maintaining a consistent visual style through built-in presets.
Through Pollo API, you can integrate PixVerse 5.5 for text-to-video and image-to-video generation, with configurable duration, resolution, visual style, and optional generated audio.
Key Features of PixVerse 5.5 API
Multi-Shot Sequences
Generate multiple connected shots within a single clip, using changes in camera angle and scene progression to support short narrative sequences.
Built-In Style Presets
Support anime, 3D animation, clay, comic, cyberpunk, and automatic style presets to maintain a consistent visual direction across the generated clip.
Generated Audio and SFX
Provide optional generated audio, ambience, and sound effects that correspond to the visual content of the video.
First and Last Frame Control
Accept a starting image and a tail image to guide the transition and motion between the opening and ending frames.
Expressive Character Motion
Generate character movement with coordinated gestures, facial expressions, and body motion for dialogue, performance, and character-focused video content.
Use Cases of PixVerse 5.5 API
Story Sequences: Generate multi-shot clips with changing camera angles for narrative tools, storyboards, and short-form video content.
Stylized Animation: Create anime, clay, comic, 3D, and other preset-based animations for illustration and character-focused applications.
Sound-Ready Clips: Generate videos with optional audio and sound effects for social content, demonstrations, and multimedia workflows.
Frame-to-Frame Transitions: Animate between selected opening and ending images for logo animations, transformations, reveals, and transition-based videos.
Character Moments: Build expressive character shots for dialogue apps, reaction content, and avatar tools where gesture and motion carry the scene.
Cyberpunk and Genre Scenes: Apply presets such as cyberpunk, comic, or anime to create videos with a defined visual direction.
Vertical and Square Output: Configure vertical, square, or landscape outputs for social feeds, stories, applications, and video players.
How to Use PixVerse 5.5 API
Get an API Key: Create a Pollo API account and generate your API key from the developer dashboard.
Choose the Model: Send requests to the PixVerse 5.5 endpoint at /generation/pixverse/pixverse-v5-5.
Add Your Inputs: Provide a prompt for text-to-video or an image URL for image-to-video, then set length (5, 8, or 10), resolution, style, and toggle multiClip or generateAudio.
Generate and Retrieve: Submit the task, poll the returned task status, and download the video once processing succeeds.
Prompting Best Practices for PixVerse 5.5 API
Treat the prompt like a short shot list. Specify the subject, action, shot sequence, visual style, and mood to guide the multi-shot structure and overall appearance.
A Simple Prompt Formula
Subject + action across shots or cuts + camera angle changes + chosen style + setting, lighting, and mood
What You Should Notice
Plan The Shots: When using multi-shot generation, describe each scene beat and camera angle to guide the sequence and transitions.
Commit To A Style: Name anime, clay, comic, or another preset early to maintain a consistent visual direction across the clip.
Guide The Motion: Describe how a character gestures or moves to guide facial expressions and body movement.
Set The Frames: For image workflows, provide a starting image and tail image to guide how the shot opens and closes.
Match Length To Detail: Use longer clips for multi-shot sequences and shorter ones for simple scenes or prompt testing.
Example Prompts
Comic-Style Sequence
"A rookie reporter spots a clue, leans in, then bolts down a stairwell. Three quick cuts: reaction shot, hands grabbing a note, feet racing. Bold comic style, high-contrast inking, halftone shadows, energetic pacing."
Claymation Beat
"A clay chef kneads dough, dusts flour that puffs into the air, then slides a tray into a glowing oven. Warm bakery light, handmade clay animation style, soft stop-motion feel, gentle push-in on the finished loaf."
Anime Reaction
"A quiet swordsman lifts his head as rain starts, eyes narrowing, a faint smile forming before he grips the hilt. Medium shot holding on the face, vivid anime style, cool blue lighting, distant thunder in the audio."
Cyberpunk Chase
"A courier weaves a hover-bike through neon alleys, camera cutting from a tracking side view to a tight over-the-shoulder shot. Rain-slick streets, cyberpunk style, magenta and cyan glow, humming engine and city noise."
Frame-to-Frame Morph
"A single seed rests on dark soil, then unfurls into a blooming flower with layered petals. Smooth transition between the opening and closing frame, clean realistic style, soft daylight, shallow depth of field."

PixVerse 5.5 API FAQs
What is PixVerse 5.5?
PixVerse 5.5 is a PixVerse video model built for multi-shot sequences, stylized presets, and expressive motion, supporting text-to-video and image-to-video with optional generated audio.
Does PixVerse 5.5 API support text and image inputs?
Yes. You can generate from a text prompt, animate an image URL, or set a start and tail image to control how a shot opens and closes.
What makes multi-shot generation useful?
It chains several shots into one clip with changing angles, so a short output can tell a small story instead of holding a single static frame.
Which styles can PixVerse 5.5 produce?
Alongside an auto setting, it offers anime, 3D animation, clay, comic, and cyberpunk presets, keeping stylized clips consistent without heavy prompting.
What resolutions and lengths are available?
PixVerse 5.5 supports 360p up to 1080p and clip lengths of 5, 8, or 10 seconds, though 1080p is not available for 10-second clips.
Why run PixVerse 5.5 through Pollo API?
Pollo API provides access to PixVerse 5.5 alongside other video and image models through a single integration, with documentation and asynchronous task tracking.
