Vidu Q2 Turbo renders motion-heavy short clips quickly while keeping camera transitions stable, so busy scenes remain coherent instead of smearing between frames.
With Vidu Q2 Turbo on Pollo API, developers add text, image, and reference-guided video to their apps, choosing clip lengths from 1 to 8 seconds and resolution up to 1080p per request.
Key Features of Vidu Q2 Turbo API
Fast Motion Handling
Handle busy action such as running, spinning, or crowd movement while keeping subjects coherent and reducing blur or drift.
Stable Camera Transitions
Keep pans, push-ins, and orbiting shots steady throughout the clip, so fast subjects and moving cameras coexist without jitter disrupting the short scene.
Three Input Modes
Generate from a text prompt, animate a single image, or steer output with a reference image, covering idea-first, asset-first, and style-guided workflows in one integration.
Optional Generated Audio
Add fitting, natural-sounding audio to a clip, turning a silent render into a finished short without a separate sound pass afterward.
Quick Iteration Range
Select clip lengths from under one second to eight seconds and 540p, 720p, or 1080p output for quick drafts and full-detail prompt reruns.
Use Cases of Vidu Q2 Turbo API
Animation Test Loops: Preview character walk cycles or mascot movement to refine timing before longer production renders.
Social Clip Generation: Produce short vertical or square motion clips at high volume for feeds, where fast turnaround matters more than long runtime.
Sports and Movement Snippets: Render fast-paced action such as parkour vaults or bike drifts while keeping busy motion readable.
Reference-Styled Shorts: Feed a reference image to lock a look, then generate several matching clips for a consistent series inside a content tool.
Image-to-Motion Previews: Turn a still hero image into a short moving shot to test whether a concept works before scaling it up.
Rapid Storyboard Beats: Generate quick moving thumbnails of scene ideas so creative teams can judge pacing and camera moves early.
Voiced Micro-Clips: Combine motion with generated audio to output short self-contained clips for explainers or promos.
How to Use Vidu Q2 Turbo API
Get an API Key: Create a Pollo API account and generate your API key from the developer dashboard.
Choose the Model: Send requests to the Vidu Q2 Turbo endpoint at /generation/vidu/viduq2-turbo.
Add Your Inputs: Provide a prompt and an image URL, set length (1-8 seconds) and resolution (540p, 720p, or 1080p), and toggle generateAudio if you want sound.
Generate and Retrieve: Submit the task, poll the returned task status, and download the finished video once it succeeds.
Prompting Best Practices for Vidu Q2 Turbo API
Lead with the movement. Name the subject, the exact action and its speed, then the camera behavior, so the model has a clear motion target for a short, fast clip.
A Simple Prompt Formula
Subject + fast or continuous action + camera movement + setting and lighting + optional style or audio cue
What You Should Notice
Prioritize The Motion: Say how fast and in what direction things move, since busy action is where this model earns its speed.
Direct The Camera: Name the pan, orbit, or push-in so the transition stays intentional rather than drifting.
Keep One Scene: Focus each short clip on a single continuous moment so the limited seconds stay coherent.
Use A Reference For Consistency: Supply a reference image when you need several clips to share the same look.
Add Audio When It Helps: Turn on generated audio for clips meant to ship as finished shorts rather than silent drafts.
Draft Low, Finish High: Iterate at 540p or 720p, then re-run the best prompt at 1080p.
Example Prompts
Parkour Run
"A traceur sprints along a rooftop, vaults a low wall, and rolls on landing, momentum carrying forward. Camera tracks alongside at speed, late-afternoon sun, gritty urban setting, motion staying sharp through the fast sequence."
Animated Mascot Loop
"A round cartoon fox bounces on its toes, waves both arms, and does a quick spin, energetic and looping. Flat 2D animation style, bright flat colors, static centered camera, clean studio background for a mascot test."
Underwater Flythrough
"Camera glides forward through a coral reef as fish dart in schools and light rays flicker down. Continuous smooth forward motion, vivid blues and oranges, soft caustic lighting, calm ambient underwater audio."
Street Food Action
"Hands toss noodles in a wok over a roaring flame, sparks and steam rising, quick repeated flips. Close side-on shot with a slow push-in, warm night-market lighting, sizzling audio, realistic style."
